Daniel Zatz, award-winning cinematographer, is out on the tundra now, filming polar bears and posting daily updates of video with comments! Each day, they “shoot, edit, and upload a new polar bear program form Hudson Bay, Manitoba.” Daniel is traveling the tundra in the same vehicle I was in just a few days ago…Buggy One!
I miss being there so much, but I watch these daily updates and feel as though I’m there with him! I am concerned, however, with the fact that there is still not enough ice on Hudson Bay for the bears to start moving out for their winter hunting of seals. Cross your fingers that today’s cold weather will continue so the Hudson Bay will begin to freeze and the bears can begin their winter journeys!
