Vanderbilt Virtual School “Rolling on the Tundra” Videoconferences

Posted by: Julene Reed | October 30, 2008 | No Comment |

Thirteen schools from around the country will be participating in live videoconferences from the tundra on the dates below. These schools will be connecting through the Vanderbilt Virtual School at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee which offers exceptional educational content throughout the year.

Students and teachers who will be joining these videoconferences can share thoughts, ideas, lessons, and questions for the scientists here by writing comments to this blog entry.

Below is a list of the schools that will be joining the videoconferences. Scientists working with Polar Bears International and Julene Reed (St. George’s Director of Academic Technology, Apple Distinguished Educator, and Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Advisory Council Member) look forward to sharing information and answering questions about polar bears “live” from the tundra during these videoconferences!
